A creative drawing contest organized to promote young talents, innovative approaches and inspiring styles. The areas cover comic art, character design, game design, illustration, concept art and short animation depending on the year. The winners are announced and presented their awards with a ceremony held during COMiKON festival.

COMiKON HONOUR AWARDS

New generations show their respect to inspiring masters! Each year COMiKON – Istanbul presents an “HONOUR AWARD” to a doyen comic book artist for his/her contributions for the development of the field.

Songs & Fun

A contest for amateur singers and anime song fans. The finals are held during the COMiKON and awards are presented to the winners during a ceremony held at the end of the festival.

CosPOWER

Cosplay Catwalk

A platform for Cosplayers to display and share their creativity and skills in costume making with their fellow fans of fantastic movies, anime characters, and superheroes… CosPOWER is not a competition in the classic sense because all participants are winners and a medal of courage is presented to each.

Visitors’ Selection

The Awards are presented to the winners selected by the visitors during the exhibition. The art lovers are free to vote by giving points to the works they prefer and the recipients of the Awards are calculated by simple addition of those points.

No selection jury is involved therefore it is virtually a people’s choice and aims to underline the fact that art becomes meaningful with the participation of its viewers.
